Motorcoach and Group Tour with Meal Option

Tour Operators and Event Planners enjoy bringing their groups to Glenfield Plantation for a taste of true Southern Hospitality!
Upon arrival, guest will be greeted by the homeowner and her decendants in period costume as they enjoy their complimentary Mint Julep, glass of Wine, Beer or non-alcoholic Beverage, which will be served under the old Southern Oak Trees that shade the handmade brick patio. The tour will begin shortly after as history and stories are told to guest during their walk through of the 200 year old antebellum home that once was a striving Cotton Plantation boasting over 2000 acres as described through the lens of the young diarist, Lucy Anne Cannon, who resided here when the home was known as Glencannon during the Civil War.
